There is a divided class of matters which is named quasi-conductors. Scientists got known about these materials in the end of the 19th century, but just in the 20th century scientists managed to obtain more knowledge about them. The first successful experiment was carried out by the Russian scientists in 1923. They proved that semiconductors may be used to generate fluctuations. There was no possibility to create some unique devices as igbt modules. The most considerable event in the history of semiconductor devices was the invention of the first transistor by Bell corporation in 1949. Since then a lot of persons all over the world become interested in such kind of substance as semiconductors.

The interest to optical features of semiconductors revived because of discovery of induced emission in semiconductors. It led to the creation of semiconductor laser device based on usage of p - n barriers and then on heterojunction.

What is groupware application?

Groupware is computer net software intended to boost up the efficiency and facilitate communication of labour crews. Given technology is usually based on shared ambient interface and utilized for computer assisted cooperative work. It supports crews of co-woerkers involved in a shared activity or undertaking and allows users to interact, concur, co-ordinate, resolve questions, etc. Groupware has to weigh probable part men play in mutual work, how people conduct in crews and how aspects of netting program touch a user's experience.

Today NAVSTAR GPS (Global Positioning System) is a well known reality that has already become a norm of life for a great number of people. This system gives a possibility to identify the location and velocity of the objects at any area on Earth, including polar areas, almost in all weather conditions, and in space to 100 kilometers above Earth. The United States Department of Defense has worked out and accomplished Global Positioning System.

The location is identified by the principle of measuring the distance from the point with the fixed coordinates to an object. The distance is defined by the counting the delay time of radio signal spreading from the satellite-transmitter to a GPS antenna which is a receiver. It signifies that to define 3-dimensional coordinates GPS receiver must know the distance to 3 transmitters and the time of the GPS system. And when we want to detect coordinates and altitude of GPS receiver we are to apply minimum 4 signals from 4 satellites. The direction of the transmitters from Earth is realized in the control station that is situated in Schriever base, Colorado.

Today GPS receivers are often applied for civil purposes, mostly for position and velocity detection. GPS devices are being traded in different stores and they are built in mobile phones, PCs and onboarders. GPS receiver allows a consumer to define geographical coordinates of the receiver's location at the present moment of time. The exactness of the location definition is from 3 to 5 meters and when radio signal is improved from Earth it becomes better and may be to one millimeter.

Working together

Unfair rivalry on the telecommunication services market

Are you assured that there are sixty seconds in a minute? But according to IDT many telephone card companies only give customers 36 seconds in a minute. A lot of well-known corporations declared that there can't be any fair rivalry if one of competitors has unfair benefit before the beginning of a competition. As some corporations-providers of prepaid phone cards resorted to the unjust competition procedures, IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) made a resolve to defend their rights using the legal ways.

IDT/UTA had alleged that different its proper phone cards, those of many of their rivals supply only about 60 percent of the minutes of telecommunications services proposed and promoted on voice prompts heard by clients in connection with calls performed by using the defendants' cards and advertised by such rivals on radio, magazines, placard, global network, or another medium. Last year Total Call International and IDT/UTA was accused of unlawful actions by the group of phone corporations that comprised IDT Telecom Inc. and LLC. This brings to four the number of defendant groups that have settled the litigation initiated by IDT/UTA before, this year. Epana Networks, Inc., Dollar Phone Corp. and connected structures, and Locus Telecommunications, Inc are also involved into the trial. That pending suit is still on approval in the federal tribunal in Newark, New Jersey. Recently, one of softswitch providers made known his advanced terms of paying the telephone facilities. If you want to make the successful website you should add some attractive components there. Another quite important feature is the pages of your website should be loaded fast. I thought that flash menu could resolve the problem. The flash menu can resolve even 2 problems: to make the website more pleasant and to make the navigation system more comprehensive. A flash menu must not be very big in terms of kilobytes.

Some people think that flash menu is quite difficult thing to create. I didn't have much knowledge and skills and flash was simply a hobby for me.
