Collaborative interactions are dealt with in such a way that the key purpose of the participants is to introduce changes into the collaboration entity from what has been unfixed and immaterial, for example, an idea, into a useful solution, for example a design solution.

Teamwork software is considered to be one type of groupware applications that allow people communicate information and work together on various tasks.

The power of these tools can be found in the ability to allow team members to manage action plans, exchange documents, track projects, supervise schedules, facilitate business processes, be instantly reminded of any new objectives and events they are involved in. There are a number of approaches to making these applications useful: managing events, papers and projects, automating business processes and harmonizing work of several departments or even offices.
